Before founding AN Sound Company, owner and engineer Andrew Nagatori spent nearly a decade working in recording studios throughout the Pacific Northwest. Beginning as an intern in 2011, Andrew learned the craft from the ground up, spending countless hours assisting sessions, editing tracks, setting up equipment, and learning from experienced engineers and producers. Through dedication, hard work, and a passion for music, he worked his way up to become a recording, mixing, and production engineer, contributing to hundreds of songs across a wide range of genres.

Throughout his career, Andrew has had the opportunity to work with everyone from some of the Pacific Northwest's most respected local artists to international artists from Spain and everywhere in between. These experiences have allowed him to develop a versatile approach to production, adapting to a wide variety of musical styles while helping each artist maintain their unique sound and identity.

Raised in the world of large-format SSL consoles, analog outboard gear, and traditional recording studio workflows, Andrew developed an appreciation for the warmth, depth, and musicality that made classic records stand the test of time. Those lessons continue to influence every project that comes through AN Mix Room today.

Following a complete renovation of the studio, AN Mix Room was designed to blend the best of traditional recording techniques with modern production capabilities. While artists can record locally, we also regularly collaborate with recording studios, producers, and musicians across the country. Tracks can be recorded anywhere and brought back to AN Mix Room for editing, mixing, mastering, and final production, allowing artists to work with the people they trust while still benefiting from our expertise and workflow.

Today, AN Mix Room combines extensive studio experience with years of professional live sound and production expertise. Having mixed live concerts, touring productions, corporate events, and worship environments, we understand how music translates across different listening systems and real-world environments.
